Captain Nemo's pedigree looks like a "Who's Who of Proven Brangus Genetics. His pedigree includes all of the really great bloodlines of this breed. He has Titan the Immortal, Cloud 942, the bull that has sired more sought after females than any other of the breed, Beacon, the A.I. line known for red meat and maternal qualities. He has Oscar Breeding - the certified meat sire. All of this is bred into one individual, Captain Nemo. It is easy to see why his genetic capability is so awesome. His daughters are carrying on the legacy in some of the best Brangus herds in the US.
Nemo has always been considered a "different bull". He was not successful as a calf in the show ring because he was not the conventional, typical Brangus bull calf. He was considered too long, too cleanand just too extreme in muscle pattern and overall conformation. His only problem was the fact that he was ahead of his time. He is now recognised as the bull that is making corrections in the breed.
Captain Nemo is cleaning up underlines, sheath, adding fertility, adding length and scale and making good cows look super through their offspring.
