CCR PATHFINDER
Pathfinder has been one of the most popular bulls in the breed. He was the number 1 AI sire of the breed, as well as the "IBBA Sire of the Year" three times, a feat only enjoyed by "legends", "Exacto" and "Impact". Pathfinder is siring females that are extremely efficient, fertile, easy calving, and offering great maternal traits, such as perfect udders, and udder longevity, an important consideration. His sons have sold all over the US offering growth, length, capacity, clean-sheaths, and large testicles, as well as an extreme amount of muschle and carcase quality.
Pathfinder has been one of the most "tested" sires in the breed, with thousands of steers evaluated for both carcase and feed efficiency. Pathfinder calves are born easy, grow quick and are moderate framed, with excellent dispositions. His sons are thick-topped, deep- ribbed, long-sided meat machines with in-built carcase quality. His daughters are moderate-framed with beautiful, productive udders, in-built fertility, and longevity. HIs pedigree shows the elite individuals that have made the Angus breed what it is. His rare combination of total balanced performance, carcase quality and outstanding accurate EPDs offer a significant genetic package tailor made to any Brangus program.
CCR Pathfinder is the sire of CCR Hondo 155A. He sires extra volume, muscle and growth. He sired the Champion GET of Sire at National Brangus Show. In 1990 12 Pathfinder bull calves average US$6325 and a four month old heifer sold for US$10,000.
