4th Generation
RBR Mr King 6M-IS28 is an extremely long, extremely smooth muscled bull with the trimness and the clean sheath that is in demand by the purebred Brangus breeders of today. This bull is very structurally correct; he walks out well and has a lot of libido. He is an excellent semen producer in both quantity and quality. He is a favourite at the stud station and the people collecting semen from him say he is the "best working bull at Hawkeye".
IS28's sire was DMA King. "King" was the Grand Champion bull at the International Show at Houston, Texas, in 1982. He was Grand Champion at the National Futurity Show in Kerrville, Texas, and Grand Champion at the National Show of Merit. He was the first bull ever to win all three of these prestigious shows which go to make up the Triple Crown of Brangus in the US.
The dam of IS-28 is the 6M cow, considered one of the top cows at Riley Brangus Ranch and in the breed. She is the daughter of Cloud 942 and out of a P.W. Oscar 120 (Certified Meat Sire) bred cow.
This combination of King and the 6M cow should add ruggedness, smoothness, fertility and red meat to the progeny of RM Mr King 6M-IS-28.
